Foundation Director

This role is to keep the Club aware of the District’s responsibility to provide funds for Rotary Foundation; finding ways to stimulate interest within the Club in the global perspective. In particular:

• Create greater awareness of The Rotary Foundation at every opportunity.
• Liaise with Directors, particularly the International Director and the Treasurer, to increase net donations in dollars and/or donations in kind to The Rotary Foundation.
• Participate in at least one Rotary Foundation activity – GSE, Polio Eradication, utilizing Matching, or Helping Grants for an international project, or Community Assistance Grants, hosting or sponsoring an Ambassadorial Scholar.
• Work with the Programme Officer to use Scholars or Foundation Alumni as participants in Club programmes and activities.
