The Rotary Club of Sydney Darling is an active and an effective community service group, with a broad array of projects on the go. We support women’s homeless shelters, we plant trees, we organise fundraisers and much, much more. We have members from all walks of life and are always ready to try our hand at something new. Like any Rotary Club, our members are our most valuable asset. Their passion, skills and service are the only reasons we’re able to make the changes in the world that we can. We would love to have you amongst us and to work on things you care about. This week, we're locking in our strategy for the remainder of the Rotary year. Your positions on projects, input on initiatives and guidance on giving would be welcome, and would go a long way to ensuring the future and impact of our work. This week we are joined by District Governor Dr. Janice Hall to discuss the recent Rotary Convention, and her work as the leader of our Rotary District. Janice has a wealth of experience in Rotary, education and service, and she has spent many years working to enact Rotary's vision. Her perspective on Rotary's future and the importance of our work is not to be missed.

This week, we'll be joined by Sarah Thyssen, Executive General Manager of the EB Research Partnership. Sarah will talk about her work gathering funds and raising awareness to combat Epidermolysis Bullosa, a group of life-threatening skin disorders that affects children from birth. We will also be holding our Annual General Meeting to review our accounts and appoint next year’s Executive.

SPEAKER: Racheal Imburgia - Life In the Operating Theatre Racheal will be sharing the different aspects of her job as a cardiac surgical nurse and the daily activities we do to keep the operating theatre and procedures running smoothly.
