2021 Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour Changeover

Continuing a proud tradition, the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour will changeover its board this year. President Mel Lane will wrap up her two year Presidency, and handover to Drew Sturgiss. If that isn't enough to whet your appetite, the Changeover is being held at Casa Ristorante Italiano, giving us the opportunity to enjoy authenticate Italian cuisine on the shore of our Club's namesake, the Sydney Darling Harbour. Film Screening – “Die or Die Trying: Escaping the Taliban”

Our friends at the Rotary Club of Sydney Cove are hosting a screening of the documentary Die or Die Trying: Escaping the Taliban followed by a Q & A session with those featured in the film.

The one-hour documentary depicts the gripping and emotional experience of 15 young women from Kabul as the Taliban invade their city and seize power.
All funds raised will go towards club projects aimed at assisting refugees.

28th Annual Rotary Charity Harbour Cruise

Our friends at the Rotary Club of Sydney Cove have been running this regatta for 28 years, and have donated millions to support research projects at the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, their principal beneficiary for 25 years.

The Regatta runs out of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA), the home of the ROLEX Sydney to Hobart race. The yacht owners provide around 50 of the best yachts and their crew – like Ichi Ban and Wild Oats - for free one day each November to support the regatta.
