Ashish Chaulagain is a mindfulness facilitator and Reiki healer from Nepal who has been involved in Rotary for past 11 years, previously co-ordinating 108 Rotaract Clubs as the District Rotaract Representative (DRR) of Nepal and Bhutan. For his significant contribution in Rotary humanitarian projects in Nepal and he was also presented USA – Nepal Humanitarian Award in 2017, and has been acknowledged by Rotary International for his efforts in support victims for the 2015 Nepal Earthquake.
Ashish was a speaker at the Rotary International Peace Conference 2015, discussing the ‘Role of Youth in Peace-Building and Humanitarian services’. His latest engagement with Rotary was an executive secretary for Rotary Nepal Literacy Mission Committee established with an objective of achieving 100% literacy in Nepal by 2020.
Ashish will be speaking on his experience of survival, struggle, decision dilemmas, and his response and learnings from various disaster situations.
