Digital Evening Meeting – 5/8/2021: Youth Homelessness

Loading Events

Homelessness is an issue that the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour has been involved in for years, as the homeless are often the most vulnerable members of our society. When it impacts our youth, the ramifications can be even more significant and can trap individuals in lives plagued by mental illness, food insecurity and decreased opportunities to pull themselves out of this difficult situation.

In this evening meeting, we will be discussing how the Darlings can best get involved in the important area of Youth Homelessness, and what support we can provide to existing organisations to help them deliver better outcomes for their residents.

Due to current COVID-19 safety pre-cautions, this will be a digital meeting. You can join by visiting https://rotarydarlingharbour.org.au/zoom

Our evening meetings are used to discuss both our upcoming events and broader world issues. They have a focus on work-shops and project discussion, and are geared to be enjoyed after a hard day of work. If you are passionate about improving your world and local community, making new friends and developing new skills and are excited to attack new challenges, then this is the meeting for you.
