MediShare works with a range of partners (including Rotary), government & not-for-profit organisations to add value to the infrastructure of health care in disadvantaged communities through the provision and shipping of recovered usable medical consumables, equipment and resources.
By working with recipients to identify specific needs, and managing the shipment of requested equipment the focus is to enhance the infrastructure of their health systems to improve medical facilities and make a positive impact on the delivery of health care for their communities.
MediShare is a pathway to providing redundant ‘end of life’ health equipment to disadvantaged communities that face difficulties obtaining the affordable goods they need whilst minimising the negative effect on the environment by reducing landfill. Providing an effective and sustainable health care system ensures quality health outcomes
To support their important work, we will be visiting their facility to help load containers with resources, and otherwise provide aid to their mission.
