The Darling: 26/9/2022

Dear members and friends of the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour,
One of the hazards of having a board as engaged and committed to Rotary as ours is that it can be difficult to find a time when we’re all free. For that reason, I’m happy to announce that our in-person meeting on the 12th of October will serve as the Club’s Strategy Meeting. This will solidify our plans for the remainder of the year, and ensure that our projects continue swiftly into the next Rotary year. Your opinions and ideas of what the Club should do are welcome, and I look forward to seeing you there.

In other matters about the future of Rotary, the ballot on the Rotary Regionalisation Pilot is open. Inducted members should have received an email soliciting their vote. For more information please visit https://creatingtomorrowrotary.org/

Otherwise, we have a virtual meeting on Wednesday, I look forward to seeing you in my Zoom window!

Final Thoughts

The town of White Post, Virginia was named after an 11 foot post marker set by George Washington in 1750. It was white.

Well, that’s it from me. Don’t forget that our next meeting is on Wednesday the 28th of September at 6PM, taking place online. For more information, please visit https://rotarydarlingharbour.org.au/events/virtual-meeting-28-9-2022/

Until next week,
