Dear Members and Friends of the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour,

As the weather changes to the more cooler nights and fresher morning my thoughts shift to those who might not have the comforts of a warm home. This is the main reason for our Annual Bush Dance to raise money for the elderly women who are homeless. Please share with friends or tell them to donate through the same link below.

The Annual Bush Dance is our signature event for this Rotary year and we would love to have an engaged club at the event and ask you to please sell tickets or ask friends to donate to a great cause helping the Older Women’s Network’s “Buy a Brick” campaign. Tickets are on sale now please visit https://rotarydarlingharbour.org.au/events/rotary-darling-harbour-bush-dance/ or to buy tickets directly https://events.humanitix.com/rotary-darling-harbour-bush-dance

This week in our face to face meeting we have Brigitte Stills comes to talk her best seller book “Voices of the 21st Century Women Transforming the World” and her experiences being the first know Female Real Estate Sales Agent.

We’re inviting you to a night of fun and entertainment, experiencing classic outback folk culture with a modern twist! Whether you’re still wearing-in your boots, or you’re a well heeled tapper and twirler, this is set to be a hoot and a half! We’re excited to announce that all proceeds from the event will be going towards supporting the Older Women’s Network’s “Buy a Brick” campaign, dedicated to ending housing insecurity amongst older women. You’ll be able to feel good about supporting a great cause, while having an awesome time. But wait, there’s more! We’ll also be hosting a charity raffle with amazing prizes up for grabs. It’s the perfect chance to win big while making a difference in the lives of older women in need.

Final Thoughts

The grandfather clock, also called longcase clock, tall pendulum clock enclosed in a wooden case that stands upon the floor and is typically 1.8 to 2.3 metres in height. The name grandfather clock was adopted after the song “ Grandfather’s Clock, ” written in 1876 by Henry Clay Work, became popular.
