A key area of focus for the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour is “supporting homeless people in Sydney and Overseas”.

One of our most significant partners in this area is The Station, which provides a range of services for people who are having difficulty attaining and sustaining adequate and secure accommodation, health status, personal autonomy and dignity.

The Darling’s support The Station in the following ways by providing “boots on ground” for volunteering opportunities, such as helping them feed over 150 people during their yearly Boxing Day Dinners. We also provide material support in collecting sleeping bags and backpacks, and donating our surplus food from breakfast meetings. We also partner with larger companies such as Hanes Group (Bonds), Coca-Cola Amatil and OMO to provide necessities such as clothing and underwear, bottled drinks and washing powder.
