MediShare works with a range of partners (including Rotary), government & not-for-profit organisations to add value to the infrastructure of health care in disadvantaged communities through the provision and shipping of recovered usable medical consumables, equipment and resources.

By working with recipients to identify specific needs, and managing the shipment of requested equipment the focus is to enhance the infrastructure of their health systems to improve medical facilities and make a positive impact on the delivery of health care for their communities.

MediShare is a pathway to providing redundant ‘end of life’ health equipment to disadvantaged communities that face difficulties obtaining the affordable goods they need whilst minimising the negative effect on the environment by reducing landfill. Providing an effective and sustainable health care system ensures quality health outcomes.

To support their important work, we will be visiting their facility to help with organising provisions for transport, and otherwise provide aid to their mission.

Alongside propping up Australian democracy, the sausage sizzle is one of the great fundraising opportunities of our time.

So on Saturday November 23rd, the mighty Darlings with their impressive arsenal of bread, sausage and sauce are manning the barbecue at Alexandria Bunnings!

The Rotary Club of Sydney Darling is an active and an effective community service group, with a broad array of projects on the go. We support women’s homeless shelters, we plant trees, we organise fundraisers and much, much more. We have members from all walks of life and are always ready to try our hand at something new.

Like any Rotary Club, our members are our most valuable asset. Their passion, skills and service are the only reasons we’re able to make the changes in the world that we can. We would love to have you amongst us and to work on things you care about.
