On Saturday May 3rd, the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour hosted an unforgettable Turkish Fundraiser Dinner, bringing together members, friends, and the wider community for an evening of culture, cuisine, and camaraderie, supporting a meaningful cause.
The event featured a delightful array of traditional Turkish dishes, live music, and vibrant entertainment, creating an atmosphere of warmth and connection. A special thank you goes to the talented group from Hand in Hand, Heart to Heart (El Ele, Kalp Kalbe), whose dedication and passion ensured that every guest felt welcomed and enjoyed a memorable experience.
Thanks to the generous support of all attendees, the evening raised a total of $7,700. Additionally, the club was successful in securing $7,000 in District Grants for the Türkiye project, bringing the total donation to an impressive $14,700.
These funds will go directly to supporting communities in Türkiye affected by recent challenges, aiding in their recovery and renewal efforts.
