The Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour hosts dozens of engaging guest speakers each year, giving us exposure to wide array of topics and perspectives. To thank them for their efforts, the Darlings have each guest speaker sign a children’s book, which is then donated to the school library of either Alexandria Park Community School or the Glebe Public School.
Over the course a year, this sees us donate dozens of books to read and enjoyed by children, thus paying forward the act of our guest speaker broadening our own horizons and allowing us to play a small role in Rotary’s broader goals of promoting literacy.
