Get ready to scoot your boots and kick up your heels at the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour’s Bush Dance!

        

We’re inviting you to a night of fun and entertainment, experiencing classic Australian Outback folk culture with a modern twist!

Whether you’re still wearing-in your boots, or you’re a well-heeled tapper and twirler, this is set to be a hoot and a half!

 

TIME: 7:00 – 7:15 pm for a 7:30pm dancing start

DATE: Saturday 4 May, 2024

LOCATION: Abraham Mott Hall, Miller’s Point

Complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival.

THE PROCEEDS GO TO: We’re excited to announce that proceeds from the event will be going towards supporting the Women’s and Girl’s Emergency Centre (WAGEC) and Other Rotary Projects throughout the Year.

WAGEC is a locally based non-for-profit organisation supporting women and children escaping domestic violence.“WAGEC now provides over 200 women and children with accommodation each night, operates three crisis refuges and 40 transitional properties for women and families escaping domestic and family violence and/or homelessness, and actively engages the community to join the movement to end gender-based violence in a generation.”  For more Information on WAGEC visit their website: https://www.wagec.org.au/ 

Throughout the night, there will be many opportunities to donate and win prizes!!

 

THE BAND: Don’t forget the music! We’ve got The Inland Navigators performing live, bringing their unique blend of Australian folk and bluegrass to the stage.

Don’t know how to dance? The band will step us through each number as we go, you’ll be tapping your feet and dancing the night away in no time.
