In our first face to face meeting of 2024, we will be hosting a talk by Adrienne Ainsworth & Caroline Hill from the Harding Miller Education Foundation.
The Foundation provides practical support to lift the educational outcomes and career aspirations of high potential girls experiencing socio-economic hardship.
Since 2016, it has awarded just over 1000 scholarships to girls at over 350 government high schools across Australia. Each scholarship is worth $20k over four years (years 9 -12) and offers a range of practical tools and resources (including laptops and tutoring) as well as other enrichment opportunities and support mechanisms to allow the scholars to engage at school and reach their academic potential.
