TheRotary Club of Darling Harbour and Sydney City Rotaract are joining forces for National Tree Planting Day again this year! Last year we were able to plant over 200 trees and shrubs in Marrickville, and we loved the event so much we are doing it all again.
This year we will be planting trees with the Inner West Council at Sydney Park, helping to increase understory vegetation in existing bushland to increase the habitat for small birds and lizards.
Sydney Park is very close to the St Peters train station, but there is also plenty of parking facilities around the park if you prefer to drive. Feel free to reach out to other members to car pool as well.
