MediShare works with a range of partners (including Rotary), government & not-for-profit organisations to add value to the infrastructure of health care in disadvantaged communities through the provision and shipping of recovered usable medical consumables, equipment and resources.

Like any wide-scale volunteer effort, helping hands make a big difference. On Saturday the 20th of August, members of the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour and volunteers from Sydney’s South Sudanese community assisted with the packing, preparing and sorting of donated goods to help it swiftly meet its intended recipients in the South Sudan.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Rotary is being of service to people whom we will never meet. After two long years of COVID, boots on ground volunteering was especially rewarding. We performed some great work in readying a shipment and organising a warehouse, and we look forward to coming back in the future.
