Dear Members and Friends of the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour,

We had an excellent turn out of 70 people at our Rotary Bush Dance. It was amazing after 3 years to see the club raising money for OWN and other homeless projects. The committee after some light drinking needed the weekend to recover before tallying up all the wonderful donations. We will give you an update during our Virtual meeting this week on how much we raised!

A big thank you to Sue Hayward for the leadership of the committee and bringing this wonderful event back. Another huge thank you to the committee and all members who helped and brought along their friends for the event!

Please note the Save the Date for our Change over Dinner for the 12th of July with more details to follow in the coming weeks.

Final Thoughts

The top end of the cashew apple is attached to the stem that comes off the tree. The bottom end of the cashew apple attaches to the cashew nut, which is encased in a shell. In botanical terms, the cashew apple is an accessory fruit that grows on the cashew seed (which is the nut).

Looking forward to seeing you at our Virtual meeting on  May 25th at 6PM. For more information https://rotarydarlingharbour.org.au/events/virtual-meeting-24-05-2023/
