We have an exciting Guest Speaker Ben MacNevin for our in person meeting this week on the 13th of SeptemberA lot of people have a strong desire to make their mark in their career or business, but they can struggle to realise this vision and become disappointed with their results. After Ben MacNevin has built a successful career coaching business, he is keen to share practical insights which you can apply to your own initiatives to drive better outcomes.

To get more involved with volunteering there is a great opportunities to volunteer for the Sydney Marathon Volunteering event on 17th September to assist with Marshalling and/or MediShare Volunteering on September 23. It is a back bone of Rotary is volunteering work and to show and up to assist. Sydney Marathon Volunteering

The Sydney Marathon is a 42 kilometre test of endurance, taking runners from Bradfield Park all the way to the iconic Sydney Opera House. It’s been an annual fixture in our city since 2000 and allows competition from all levels from seasoned athletes to weekend warriors. This year, the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour will be helping out with marshalling the event.

MediShare Volunteering 23/09/23

MediShare works with a range of partners (including Rotary), government & not-for-profit organisations to add value to the infrastructure of health care in disadvantaged communities through the provision and shipping of recovered usable medical consumables, equipment and resources. By working with recipients to identify specific needs, and managing the shipment of requested equipment the focus is to enhance the infrastructure of their health systems to improve medical facilities and make a positive impact on the delivery of health care for their communities.

Final Thoughts
