Maisie Hayward Sewing School

The Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour has helped set up a Sewing School in Nepal to allow impoverished women to learn sewing and tailoring skill so they can earn income in their own right. Sewing machines have been purchased and instructors engaged. The school has trained more than 43 women to date.

Rosalie House

Rosalie House is a temporary, up to 2 year, home for single mature women in crisis, operated by the “Vinnies”. In 2015 and 2016 the “Darlings” undertook to, internally, fully repaint the 6 bedrooms, hallway, living room, kitchen, office laundry and bathroom.
