Rotary District 9675 Conference – 2022

The Warwick 355 Hume Hwy, Cabramatta, NSW, Australia

Each year, the Clubs within the District meet for District Conference. This gives exposure to ongoing District and Rotary International projects, allows us to set strategic direction for the year ahead and, most importantly, provides an opportunity for us to talk shop and socialise with our colleagues in other Clubs. After almost two years of intermittent lock-downs and restricted opportunities face to face, the District Conference should be a welcome opportunity to catch up with old friends, strike up new conversations with Rotarians we've not met, and help make the next Rotary year even brighter than the one preceding it. Digital Club Meeting – 23/3/2022: Conference Recap

Our digital club meetings are a great opportunity to discuss our upcoming events, ongoing projects and recent news from the comfort of your home office. This week, President Drew Sturgiss will be talking about the COVID related rise in digital scamming attacks, how this relates to our Club, and we can do to avoid and respond to scams when we become the targets. If you are looking to give something back to the community, to develop professionally, to help steer exciting projects, or are just interested in making new friends, you are very welcome to attend our meeting.

Evening Meeting – 7/4/2022

The Sporting Globe x 4 Pines King Street Wharf, 22 The Promenade, Sydney, NSW, Australia

Our evening meetings are used to discuss both our upcoming events and broader world issues. They have a focus on work-shops and project discussion, and are geared to be enjoyed after a hard day of work. This month, we're back after a long COVID winter! After two years of lock-down, we're keen to establish new projects for the Club to work on. If you've got a good idea and are looking for a team to help you implement it, or if you have a lot of energy and are looking for a positive outlet for it, or if you are just keen to make some new friends, then this is the meeting for you. Rotarians, Rotaractors, and newcomers of all ages are more than welcome to attend. Meetings typically run for an hour, and attendees are welcome to join us for dinner and drinks after the meeting.

The Sporting Globe x 4 Pines King Street Wharf, 22 The Promenade, Sydney, NSW, Australia

The Rotary Club of Sydney Darling is an active and an effective community service group, with a broad array of projects on the go. We support women’s homeless shelters, we plant trees, we organise fundraisers and much, much more. We have members from all walks of life and are always ready to try our hand at something new.

Our evening meetings are a new initiative to draw in new-comers and establish new projects. Like any Rotary Club, our members are our most valuable asset. Their passion, skills and service are the only reasons we’re able to make the changes in the world that we can. We would love to have you amongst us and to work on things you care about.

Please join us in raising money for Rotary projects which include supporting women and children at risk, homelessness in Sydney and a number of other important causes.
