Rotary Adopt-a-Tree

This Australia Day, Rotary District 9675 is launching the Adopt-a-Tree initiative. This will allow Rotarians and members of the public to adopt a tree for 5 dollars. Digital Evening Meeting – 3/2/2022

Last year, our evening meetings were used to plan and execute our hugely successfully Online Comedy Night, raising over 4000 dollars for Youth Homelessness causes. At the first evening meeting for 2022, we'll be discussing potential new projects for the year ahead. If you are passionate about improving your world and local community, making new friends and developing new skills and are excited to attack new challenges, then this is the meeting for you.

Digital Club Meeting – 9/2/2022: Jess Hodge

This week we'll be joined by Jess Hodge from Resourceful Living. With a passion to change the way we treat single-use plastic, Jess and her husband Geoff set out to find a sustainable solution to environmental plastic burden. They wanted an approach which provided plastic a second, third, even up to a tenth life, as an alternate product to waste. Not just containers and small items, but big home or office features, such as tables, chairs, cupboards, wardrobes or even kitchen benchtops; which can employ lots of waste plastic perfectly! Jess will be talking about her experiences in this area, and how we can all be better stewards of the environment. If you are looking to give something back to the community, to develop professionally, to help steer exciting projects, or are just interested in making new friends, you are very welcome to attend our meeting.
