Dear members and friends of the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour,

In what has become a welcome return to normal, my joints and muscles are presently aching again after a thoroughly successful volunteer effort. This week, members of the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour and volunteers from Sydney’s South Sudanese community assisted with the packing, preparing and sorting of donated goods to help them swiftly meet their intended recipients in the South Sudan. We packed hospital beds, shifted equipment and helped organise the warehouse, providing real service to people whom we will never meet. After two long years of COVID, boots on ground volunteering was especially rewarding, and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Speaking of the future, we have a virtual on Wednesday which will be joined by our Assistant District Governor, Shane Burrette. Shane will be discussing the Zone 8 Regionalisation Project, and outlining their vision for the future. If you are interested in how Rotary can best adapt to a changing and challenging future, this meeting is not to be missed.

PSK Private Wealth

The Rotary Club of Sydney Darling is an active and an effective community service group, with a broad array of projects on the go. We support women’s homeless shelters, we plant trees, we organise fundraisers and much, much more. We have members from all walks of life and are always ready to try our hand at something new.

Like any Rotary Club, our members are our most valuable asset. Their passion, skills and service are the only reasons we’re able to make the changes in the world that we can. We would love to have you amongst us and to work on things you care about. We’d be delighted to add any project you’d like to raise to our list, and to show how the global Rotary network can help make you a part of making the world a better place.
