Dear Members and Friends of the Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour,

We had an amazing turnout at our last meeting with Clare Pearson from Little Wings sharing the amazing stories of supporting families from rural NSW that have access to medical support that we in the city are lucky at our door step.

Three amazing ways to get involved with the club over the next month:

ANZAC Day Parade Volunteering

The Darlings are joining the Rotary Club of Sydney stall on ANZAC Day to sell ANZAC biscuits to participants and spectators of the annual ANZAC Day Parade. Rotary Darling Harbour Bush Dance

We’re inviting you to a night of fun and entertainment, experiencing classic outback folk culture with a modern twist! Whether you’re still wearing-in your boots, or you’re a well heeled tapper and twirler, this is set to be a hoot and a half! We’re excited to announce that all proceeds from the event will be going towards supporting the Older Women’s Network’s “Buy a Brick” campaign, dedicated to ending housing insecurity amongst older women. You’ll be able to feel good about supporting a great cause, while having an awesome time. But wait, there’s more! We’ll also be hosting a charity raffle with amazing prizes up for grabs. It’s the perfect chance to win big while making a difference in the lives of older women in need.

Final Thoughts

The oldest-known living land animal is a tortoise named Jonathan, who is about to turn 191 years old. He was born in 1832 and has lived on the island of St. Helena in the Atlantic Ocean since 1882.
